I bought this for my granddaughter for her 12th birthday and she likes the book but I must say I was a little disappointed that there weren't any instructions on different kinds of bracelets that you could make. This was more focused on other things you could do with the looms. So I might not of read the details of this book as closely but I thought there would be more options for the different style of bracelets you could make. It is good for beginners though because it goes into detail on the basics of the loom, the different kind of tools, and things like that. So I would say this would be beneficial for someone that isn't very familiar with looms. My granddaughter has already been doing this for a little bit so most parts of the beginning of the book was of no use to her. Still, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves looms and wants to know how to make other things besides bracelets.
A very good book with many projects. My 7 and 5 years old boys enjoyed it. The projects are different and meet different tastes. The only issue we had is that it has more instructions than pictures, so sometimes the kids ask for help completing the project. I wish it includes a picture for each step. Looking at the picture helps to figure out the next step faster. Might work just fine with older kids. I recommend this book.
This is a really great resource for new rainbow loom designs. It's very detailed with a lot of great pictures; however, some designs are just not explained well. It's been difficult for my 8 year old to follow what the instructions were trying to convey without a detailed picture showing each step. I'm sure she'll get the hang of it over time, and I'm practicing as well so I can help her when she gets stuck. Overall, we really enjoy the book.
I bought this book for my daughter's 9th birthday, and I have been astounded by the things she has created. The perfect gift for the creative child.
My 8-year old has bookmarked practically every third page, he’s absolutely loving this book and all the great projects.I like that he’s making more than just bracelets now. Great choice for a kiddo bit by the loom bug.
Great book with lots of different designs. I didn't give it 5 starts because some of the designs are quite confusing and complex but I think for older kids and a more experienced loomer they could figure them out. This has a lot of very simple designs too.
my daughter loves to make things with her look and this book came in VERY handy when she started to get bored of the same old projects - there s a lot of inspiration here and the pages have great pics and some pretty easy to follow directions.. a lot of fun for serious look kids! :)
Such a great resource for rainbow loomers! My daughter found many great ideas on the internet, but this book offers unique ideas she had not found on-line. She says it’s great for beginners & more advanced loomers.
