Very well organized.The outlines are done well. You have in the back: Archaeology and the Bible, Charts, Nations and Politics of the Bible; The Savior, Bible Backgrounds, Lists, and Study Helps, etc.I do recommend this book for general knowledge and as a guideline while reading through the Bible. I have one other book that is as well done and that is "Unger's Bible Handbook."dwdraw2
This Willmington Handbook came highly recommended to me by a pastor. I was trying to find further information about people, places, customs, etc of the ancient biblical times. It does enrich the reading/studying experience for me as I prepare my own personal studies and also for the Sunday School class that I teach. It is very handy and is a good book that I will be referring to often.

Excellent. Informative. Very helpful with Bible studies. Insightful. Enhances understanding. Comparisons with other Bible passages & books of the Bible. Plus maps, charts, lists, backgrounds, outlines, purpose of the books in addition to So much information to enlighten the reader.
For years I have used Halley's Bible Handbook which in its own right is an excellent study tool, however, I believe Dr. Harold Wilmington's work is more complete. It is an invaluable tool in daily bible study for both pastors and laymen.
Great book!
It is a good reference book, just wish the print was not as small as it is.
