I received the swatch reference guide and it was packaged just fine, the binder included everything i needed...However, the binder was faulty and the metal clasps did not close properly causing the text pages inside to tear and pages inside to constantly fall out. I was hoping to keep this book forever as a reference when needed but unfortunately I do not think it was last too long. Considering that I spend nearly $200 dollars im not very pleased.
Although the book is interesting for working with students,I must critic the publisher Farchild books for lacking absolutely control of what is been send with the book,to my regret for such an expensive book I expected it to be complete (I was naive) ,and to my surprise instead of receiving the 4 sets of swatches the book is supposed to bring, I received two bundles of swatches B ( there are supposed to be four bundles labeled A,B,C,D) and no bundle C so my book is incomplete missing all the swatches from N° 122 to N° 141.This is a "Swatch Reference Guide" so Fairchild should be more careful in checking and controlling what they are promising to deliver.I could have returned the book but I am living abroad so just sending it back will cost me more money then the purchase I made.And here I am with a book that does not deliver what it promises,talks very bad of the publisher.

THIS BOOK HAS REALLY HELPED ME. I wanted to learn more about fabrics and textiles and this book is a valuable tool for anyone who wants to learn the different fabrics and fibers at home. It is what I ordered and I would order from this vendor again.
I love the fast shipping part about Amazon Prime. But the bad thing is that you dont know how the product looks like. If it says Used-Good - it can mean anything. Instead of writing about the product (such as what's wrong with it, are there any missing pages, and so on), Amazon Prime is putting a message about Shipping. Could you start having a description of the product as well? The book itself is ok, not a really good condition. It is just fine.Thanks...
Needed it for a college course and it was a bit expensive, but I can see why. You get around 250 or more fabric swatches in a baggie that are numbered to correspond with the pages in the book. Mounting each of them is a pain -I never even finished it to be honest- but when I get around to it, it will be a good reference all around.If your course requests you get this specific edition, I'd highly suggest it as long as you can afford it. The students who bought earlier editions end up confused because the fabric swatches and their numbers are very different.
