There are books where the writing is the only content that matters, and then there are books where the physical book itself *is* part of the content. Lore books like this are the latter. The Book of Cain and the Book of Tyrael are designed with care and detail. They have ripped or guilded page edges respectively, as well as a removable/framable family tree and map in the back of each one.The Book of Adria has none of these, and if I'm not mistaken the retail price is the same as the other books when they released. Not only did they cheap out on this release by not including a goodie on the back cover, they couldn't be bothered to keep a consistent spine design with the other two books. I seriously don't get why things like this happen. They had a clear design language, and they just threw it out the window for no reason. How hard is it to print the horadrim symbol on the spine like the other two? Did the dude in charge of the design for this book somehow have no clue the other two books exsisted? Again, I don't understand. You had one job...
-The Book of Adria is not bad at all, but unfortunately it definitely falls short of the standard set by two previous Diablo lore books.-The Diablo lore books have really high quality hard covers and the Book of Adria is no exception. It might be my favorite of the three.-The writing is from Adria’s perspective and it’s just fine. I was not overly impressed or unimpressed, it was just fine.-The art is really lackluster. The other books had a scratchy art style but the drawings were really high quality and fit the theme of the books really well. Perhaps that were hoping to emulate the style from the previous books, but The Book of Adria looks more a like collection of quick concept art in comparison. I was really disappointed.-The previous books came with a foldout drawing or map in the back of the book. Unfortunately there was nothing in the back of the Book of Adria, just another indication of the lack of quality in comparison. The other books also had unique page edges and this one is just standard white page edges.-I’m not sure if it’s just my copy of the book, but the hard cover warped slightly on its own and is always raised up above the pages even when it’s laying flat. I will give it the benefit of the doubt, but I’ve never had any issues like that with the previous books.Get the book if you’re a huge Diablo fan like me and want to complete the collection, but just be aware that it’s simply not as high a quality product as the Book of Cain or the Book of Tyrael.
What you can find in this book is pretty much what you can read in-game, however from Adria's/occult point of view. Not worth the money spent. Cain and Tyrael's definitely more interesting to read. Was hoping for more info per monster, but eh. Have the 'set' for now.
This book is wonderful! It has a detailed overview of all the beasts in the diablo game by blizzard. The images are really nice to look at since during game play everything moves so quickly and the goal is to eliminate you dont get to appriciate the artists details and creativity put into each character. This book totally lets you see the detail and has a thorough description. I bought this book as a gift and the recipient could not have been happier. I am pleased with my purchase and it came packaged well and in perfect condition.
Incomplete as a true "bestiary", really only covering the basic lore behind bosses and some of the more prominent "types" of enemies. Quality, both in the embossing and paper, is lower than what was produced with The Book of Cain and Book of Tyreal, and much less informative, but the artwork is fantastic.
Kind of just a thrown together book with a fancy cover. All info you get in game, th e artwork is nowhere near th e other 2, and it doesn't have extras in the cover like the others. If you got 20$ to throw away and a major diablo fan, then go for it.

Got this book for my husband for Christmas after he made doe eyes at it when we were at Blizzcon. He was excited to receive it and seems to enjoy it a lot.
